My husband made this grilled cheese sandwich one day for our boys. He pushed frozen peas (possibly thawed -- he can't remember) into the bread before grilling it. The apple ears and broccoli hair were an afterthought that completed the face. Our boys loved it, and I was pretty impressed with him myself. We like to make the little things in life more fun for our kids, and this is a very easy way that brings lots of smiles!
